Decanter World Wine Awards

The Decanter World Wine Awards is one of the most influential and prestigious awards in the wine industry. Each year they receive almost 15.000 contestants around the world. Organized by the Decanter Magazine which is currently distributed in more than 90 countries.

The Jury is composed of different types of experts from the wine industry. From Enologists and specialized press to Master of Wine and Master Sommeliers. Master of Wine is the highest distinction to which you can aspire as a specialist in wine. In the world, there are less than 400 Masters of Wine.

Our malbec wine reserves year 2015. Produced in our main vineyard in Sanatorio, Curicó, in the commune of Sagrada Familia, has achieved the feat of winning the Decanter World Wine Awards In the category of wine with a cost less than 15 pounds

To make this wine we did not do any different work than we did every day. There was no marketing or lobbying. In fact, we did not know that we had a wine in the contest.

It was described as “Exciting nose of freshly crushed black fruit, creamy vanilla yogurt, and pepper spice. Succulent juicy berries on the palate supported by soft, well-managed tannins and an excellent freshness. Beautifully executed, full of energy with a great prize point, an absolute crowd pleasure”
